Моя вчорашня заява про те, що на сьогодні, 30 грудня, запланована історична зустріч, яка з ймовірністю 90-95% завершить гарячу фазу війни, стала сенсацією. Його не обговорював лише лінивий.

Як воно було насправді

А тепер – як воно насправді:

1. Путін нікуди не літав і не збирався летіти.

2. Патрушев нікуди не літав.

3. Літаки льотного загону «Росія» – щороку літають у цей час у Нью-Йорк та Вашингтон – забирають дипломатів додому та відвозять подарунки для тих, хто залишається на службі.

До 14 січня ці ж літаки повертають цих дипломатів назад — можете перевірити архіви FlightRadar.

4. Трампу до інавгурації американськими законами заборонено проводити переговори з будь-яким іноземним лідером.

Візит до Парижа – це запрошення на захід, там були й інші колишні президенти, і вони говорили між собою.

5. Будь-які контакти нова адміністрація здійснює за посередництвом представників поточної адміністрації — інакше — підозра у держзраді.

6. Страшні оповідання про «…говорили/не домовилися/воюватимемо/дадуть багато зброї» — це настільки безпардонна брехня (та ще з таких ключових питань), що вона вже схожа не на інформаційну трібуху, якою керівництво України зазвичай намагається нагодувати українців, а на злочин проти цих самих українців.

Нові завищені очікування розганяються, щоби деморалізувати прихильників припинення вогню.

Усі розмови всерйоз із кимось Трамп зможе розпочати лише 20 січня, після офіційного приведення до присяги.

Судячи з його заяв, він сповнений рішучості закінчити війну і має намір використовувати всі можливості, що є в його розпорядженні.

Йому не буде ні легко, ні просто, і ніхто сьогодні не може сказати – чим ця спроба закінчиться.

Хоча я вважаю, що ймовірність досягти припинення вогню досить висока.

Незважаючи на відчайдушний опір цьому наших місцевих стратегів.

On the failed historic meeting that was supposed to end the hot phase of the war in Ukraine, Russia’s demarche and hype

My statement yesterday that a historic meeting is planned for today, December 30, which with a probability of 90-95% will end the hot phase of the war, became a sensation. Only the lazy did not discuss it. The statement was commented on in Ukraine and abroad.

In the afternoon, I received information that the meeting – and it was supposed to be a meeting between Putin and the elected US President Donald Trump – had failed. In the evening, I recorded a video message where I told everything in detail. I want to immediately make a reservation. Some wrote, like, “Gordon is hyping”, “he wants to get more subscribers”. Friends, I am a normal person, everything is fine with my head – I have no need to hype. My platforms already have more than 11 million subscribers. But when I have information that I consider verified and important, I share it.

In this and the next post, I want to describe in detail how it all happened. In the first half of December, when I was in Washington, I learned that a meeting between Trump and Putin was being prepared for the end of the year. Later, two of my sources in Washington named the date: December 30, 2024. This information was confirmed to me by another source in Ukraine. At first, it was planned that the meeting would be in person. Then the parties agreed that the negotiations would take place via videoconference. This was supposed to be a conversation that would consolidate a number of points and end the hot phase of the war (here I will also make a reservation: not the war, but the hot phase).

The Trump and Putin teams prepared the meeting in advance and carefully. Preparations for it began practically the day after it became known that Trump had won the election. Confidence in the United States that the meeting would take place before the end of the year was so strong that on December 18, Keith Kellogg, Trump’s future special representative for Ukraine and Russia, announced a sensational announcement on Fox Business. He said that the war would end by the end of 2024. The very next day, December 19, Putin said that he had not spoken to Trump for four years, but was ready for contacts and a meeting with him. Two days later, on December 21, Trump said that he was waiting for a meeting with Putin to agree on ending the war.

According to my information, intensive negotiations were underway between the US and Russia all last week, the culmination of which was supposed to be today’s meeting between Trump and Putin. Yesterday, you could see public confirmation of this. Many media outlets noted that a special Il-96-300 aircraft with tail number RA-96023 from the “Russia” flight detachment, which transports only the top leadership of the Russian Federation, spent several days in the US – in Washington and New York. I want to emphasize that due to sanctions, Russian planes do not fly to the US at all, except for such emergency cases. It is publicly known that Medvedev, Lavrov and the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Naryshkin flew on this plane at one time. The alcohol attaché of the Russian Foreign Ministry Zakharova hastened to call this flight “another rotation of diplomats.” Very funny! According to my information, the Russian delegation headed by Putin’s assistant Patrushev was on board. Another source said that it was not Patrushev, but Naryshkin. The head of the Russian delegation – I am still inclined to believe that it was Patrushev – spoke with the American team, in particular, with Mike Waltz, Trump’s future national security adviser.

While the Russian delegation was in the United States, the shelling of Ukraine with missiles and drones decreased to a minimum. For example, in Kyiv there were no alarms at all during these few days. Residents of other cities say the same thing. The Russians, at Trump’s request, did not want to escalate the situation during the negotiations.

Unfortunately, these negotiations ended in nothing. More precisely, a demarche on the Russian side.

Scary stories about “…we talked/didn’t agree/will fight/will give a lot of weapons” – this is such a shameless lie (and on such key issues) that it no longer looks like the informational tripe that the Ukrainian leadership usually tries to feed Ukrainians, but like a crime against these very Ukrainians.

New inflated expectations are being whipped up to demoralize the supporters of the ceasefire.

Trump will be able to start any serious conversations with anyone only on January 20, after the official swearing-in.

Judging by his statements, he is determined to end the war and intends to use all the opportunities at his disposal.

It will not be easy or simple for him, and no one today can say how this attempt will end.

Although I believe that the probability of achieving a ceasefire is quite high.

Despite the desperate resistance of our local strategists.
