Марш за Ізраїль зібрав тисячі людей до округу Колумбія

У вівторок у Вашинґтоні, округ Колумбія, на «Марш за Ізраїль» зібрався великий натовп біля Національного молу, щоб висловити підтримку Ізраїлю, звільнення заручників і протестувати проти антисемітизму, який активізувався в США після початку війни Ізраїлю та ХАМАС минулого місяця.

За повідомленнями ЗМІ у заході брали участь близько 60 тисяч людей. Один із учасників маршу назвав кореспондентові УСІМ ще більшу цифру — 200 тисяч.

За повідомленнями тих же ЗМІ, війна Ізраїлю проти ХАМАСу забирає 90% часу в новинах, решта 10% — усе інше, зокрема й війна РФ в Україні.

Навіть якщо взяти меншу цифру і зіставити її з наймасовішим протестом, ініційованим українською діаспорою не тільки тут, у Вашинґтоні, а й узагалі у світі після повномасштабного вторгнення Росії в Україну, ми маємо дуже й дуже блідий вигляд.

Відтак зіставте масштаби убивств людей і руйнувань міст і сіл України, вчинених російськими терористами з тим лихом, якого завдав ХАМАС Ізраїлеві.

March for Israel draws thousands to D.C.

A large crowd turned out in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday for the March for Israel, gathering on the National Mall to show support for Israel, for the hostages to be freed, and to protest antisemitism, which has increased in the U.S. since the Israel-Hamas war began last month.

According to media reports, about 60 thousand people took part in the event. One of the participants of the march told the UWIN correspondent an even higher number — 200 thousand.

According to the reports of the same media, Israel’s war against Hamas takes 90% of the time in the news, the remaining 10% — everything else, including the Russian Federation’s war in Ukraine.

Even if you take the smaller number and compare it to the largest protest initiated by the Ukrainian diaspora not only here in Washington, but in the world at large since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we look very, very pale.

Therefore, compare the scale of murders of people and the destruction of cities and villages of Ukraine committed by Russian terrorists with the disaster that Hamas has inflicted on Israel.
