DUTCH COMPANIES BUILT CRIMEAN BRIDGE

2 min read

Dutch companies assisted in the illegal construction of the Crimean Bridge on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. They violated EU sanctions and Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

Seven Dutch companies were involved and crucial in the construction of Crimean Bridge. They supplied ram hammers, measuring equipment and vibratory hammers, while the EU has banned all trade with Ukrainian Crimea since occupation from 2014. None of these companies has yet appeared in court. The SDutch justice is still investigating these companies and the managers involved.

The Dutch companies involved in the illegal construction of Crimean Bridge on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory: Dieseko from Sliedrecht, CAPE Holland, Dematic Equipment from Dodewaard, Allnamics from South Holland, Allpacks now bankrupt, Bijlard Hydrauliek from Milsbeek.

Those companies violated EU sanctions and Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

“For the construction of Crimean bridge, the Russians depended on EU knowledge,” Michael Dooms. “If Dutch customs Douane Nederland had paid more attention, the entire bridge would not have been built. Those are major omissions,” says sanctions expert Heleen over de Linden. Without help, no bridge for the Russian occupiers on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.

None of the prosecutor’s investigations have yet been brought to trial: they are on the shelf until someone decides what to do. Let’s act and prosecute those who have violated Ukraine’s sovereignty. No enforcement, no credibility!
