The city in the photography is our Polish capital – Warsaw in 1945, a city that has experienced its own death and rose from the ashes – literally. Years of brutal occupation razed the vast majority of our capital’s buildings. We cannot, as Europeans, the West, as people of freedom, allow this to happen again, only this time in Kyiv. God forbid.
