KYIV POST: ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW

1 min read

A Ukrainian publication that gives voice to a Russian NATIONAL widely believed to be working for Moscow who criticized the reformist post-Maidan governments using Kremlin language isn’t exactly what I would call “honest”.

A Ukrainian publication that regularly CHOSE to republish a KNOWN soft Kremlin propagandist isn’t exactly what I would call “honest”.

A Ukrainian publication that published – in direct defiance of a US gag order – the propaganda of Manafort and Kilimnik isn’t what I would call “honest”.

A Ukrainian publication that published outright falsities and then NEVER EVER EVER even issued corrections when notified that they were publishing demonstrable lies is not “honest”.

A Ukrainian publication that was publicly credibly accused of wide scale plagiarism isn’t exactly what I would call “honest”.

Yes, Ukraine needs a solid, reliable English-language media source. But pretending that it had one, full of “honest and reliable” journalists until they were unceremoniously canned today, is just lunacy.

Here is a good reminder of how “honest” and “fair” the Kyiv Post was. So “honest” and “fair” that they were cheerleaders of a guy sanctioned by the US for interfering in US elections as a Russian agent.

Dubinsky was sanctioned by the US Treasury for being a RUSSIAN AGENT in Ukraine, and the rag the Kyiv Post claimed he was being subjected to “political persecution” by Poroshenko.
