Yesterday, FIFA did what I thought was impossible:
They topped the Qatar scandal.
Gianni Infantino awarded the brand-new FIFA Peace Prize to Donald Trump.
And something extraordinary happened:
For the first time in history, Sepp Blatter suddenly looks like the man who at least tried to pretend he had integrity.
Infantino does the opposite.
He shows openly, proudly, that he has no integrity to hide.
This is worse than Qatar 2022.
Worse than the Blatter era.
Worse than anything FIFA has done before, because they’re not even pretending anymore.
A “peace prize” with no criteria.
No process.
No transparency.
Just political surrender to the host of the next World Cup.
Football belongs to the fans — not Infantino.
And when FIFA turns the world’s game into a political PR accessory, they don’t just lose credibility.
They lose their soul.

І сталося щось надзвичайне:
Вперше в історії Зепп Блаттер раптом виглядає як людина, яка хоча б намагалася вдавати, що має чесність.
Інфантіно робить навпаки.
Він відкрито, гордо показує, що йому немає чесності, яку можна приховувати.
Це гірше, ніж Катар 2022.
Гірше, ніж ера Блаттера.
Гірше, ніж все, що ФІФА робила раніше, бо вони навіть більше не вдають.
«Премія миру» без критеріїв.
Без процесу.
Без прозорості.
Просто політична капітуляція перед господарем наступного чемпіонату світу.
Футбол належить уболівальникам, а не Інфантіно.
І коли ФІФА перетворює світовий футбол на політичний піар-аксесуар, вони не просто втрачають довіру.
Вони втрачають свою душу.
